You are Uniquely Gifted for your Role in God’s Mission

You are uniquely created for your role in God’s Mission. Maybe God isn’t calling you to change the world, start a movement, or leave your mark on your generation. However, he is certainly calling you to fulfill your role, however small, in his Mission. He is calling all of us to do our part and to be who he has called us to be.

Your role could be serving at your local church. Your local homeless shelter. Or maybe, since you are reading this article, God is revealing to you that your role involves living in a culture not your own so that others can experience life in his Kingdom. Maybe God is calling you to reach the ONE MORE as a Global Worker?

We usually assume that the person that fulfills that type of role has to fit certain preconceived stereotypes.

Seminary educated. Pastor. Spiritual Giant. Pioneer.

However, what about the school teacher, the graphic artist, the construction worker, the common businessman, or the college student. Could they have a part to play?

    YES!

All of these and more are able to fulfill their role in God’s Mission as Global Workers. God has uniquely created and shaped each one of us.

    You have a S.H.A.P.E

Rick Warren and Saddleback Church has family championed that all of us have a S.H.A.P.E. (Here is a short article if you would like to read more)

    S- Spiritual Gifts.

    H- Heart.

    A- Abilities.

    P- Personality.

    E- Experiences.

No one is uniquely shaped like you. Sure, there may be some that have the same passions, the same abilities, or the same spiritual gifts. But no one has the same experience, the same personality, or the combination of all five of these elements that make you uniquely you.

God has uniquely equipped you for your role in his Mission.

Our heart is to make a place on our team for every S.H.A.P.E. on our ONE MORE team.

We all have been shaped by God to do what he has called us to do. The question is, do we trust him enough to obey him and fulfill our role in his Mission. No one can do what you do. No one can play the part you were created to play.

So, are you feeling a calling to become a Global Worker? Maybe just for a few months, years, or a lifetime? Let’s start the conversation here!
